Juniors
Juniors are the lifeblood of Hamilton Chess Club.
Hamilton Chess club is one of the main clubs supporting youth development in Scotland
We have numerous sessions conducted within schools and regional events. Many of our own juniors have progressed into successful competitors and most coach the new breed of junior players.
Our junior section is primarily intended for less experienced players, who can then progress to the adult section, by invitation, as their skills and enthusiasm develop. The junior players will meet from 6 – 7pm each Thursday.
Chess is a fantastic hobble for your child and helps develop their problem solving skills. The club has many juniors and offers an excellent opportunity for children to learn in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
